Dear Beloved Reader,

Penelope never liked the word “team.”
It sounded… corporate. Like matching blazers and quarterly reviews.
She pictured a long table of men interrupting each other and shuddered.

But last Thursday, something changed.

Petra offered to co-host a small event where they could both share their offers to their respective audience, and they invited Edwina to join, who promoted it to her email list in return.

After an additional three women from the same business community stayed behind to help tidy up—unasked.

By dusk, Penelope realized:
She wasn’t alone.
And maybe… this is what building a team looks like.

A Reminder to Start Small:

Your first team might be unofficial—and that’s a good thing.

When we think of “team,” most of us imagine payroll, contracts, onboarding. But for most early-stage Womenpreneurs, your first real support system isn’t formal.

It’s the people who believe in your work.

  • The podcast host who invites you on as a guest

  • The email list swap with a friend in a similar niche

  • The community member who shares your post every time without fail

These collaborators are your invisible scaffolding. They give you reach, energy, credibility—and even sales—without being on your payroll.

Here’s how to nurture your unofficial team:

💌 Create a “Collaboration List”
Keep a list of 5–10 people who genuinely light you up. Check in, share wins, and offer value regularly.

🎤 Make It Easy to Say Yes
Want someone to share your launch? Guest teach in your group? Don’t send a 12-paragraph ask. Offer one clear win for them, and make it easy to accept.

👑 Praise in Public
Shout them out on Instagram, in your emails, or during lives. People love being aligned with generosity and spotlight—it makes them want to do even more.

📆 Start a Monthly Collaboration Day
One day a month, brainstorm ways to create with others. It keeps you thinking in networks, not silos.

Proof in Numbers:

Frost & Sullivan found that collaboration can increase company sales by 27% and improve customer satisfaction ratings by 41% .

Personal Opinion:

Hiring isn’t always the next level.
Sometimes, collaborations do more for your visibility and growth than a VA ever could.
Not everything that scales needs a salary.

With magic and wisdom,

thGuardian of the Enchanted
