The ones who never comment? They're ready to buy.

How to reach the people who never comment; but never miss a word.

Want to wake up the silent part of your audience that’s been ready to buy... they’re already in the room, they’re just waiting for someone to notice.

Dear Beloved Reader,

At Lady Thistlewood’s garden party, Penelope stood behind the rose bushes, quietly watching the women argue about bonnets and candle scents.

She noticed something odd.

The most talkative ladies never bought a thing.
But the quiet ones; the ones nodding, listening, were the first to slip her a coin for her handcrafted sachets.

They didn’t need convincing.
They were already sold.
They were just waiting for the moment to make their move.

Decode the Quiet Ones; Then Convert Them:

Most community builders make one big mistake:
They build for the talkers — the ones who reply, comment, fill in the polls.

But great community strategy?
It accounts for the watchers as much as that; the ones who show up consistently, click often, never say a word… and often buy first.

Here’s how to spot them — and what to do next:

🧠 What to Watch For — and What to Do About It:

1. They keep clicking; but never comment. 👉 How you know:

On Instagram? Use link sticker analytics in Stories.

In emails? Check your newsletter platform for unique clicks.

In your Facebook group?

Check who's regularly active inside the group using tools like GroupTrack, GroupLeads, or Facebook’s own “Group Insights”. These tools show:

Who’s clicking but not commenting

Who's visiting often

Who’s engaging in DMs but never in public

Notice patterns manually: If someone always reacts to your stories, votes in a poll, or hovers around but doesn’t engage in threads; that’s someone quietly tuning in.

👉 What to do:

Try sending them a private message:

“Hey! I know we haven’t chatted much yet, but I had a feeling to check in. Is there something you’re working on that I could support?”

2. They always “see” your Stories, but never vote or reply.

Not everyone wants to raise their hand in a crowd; but they still want to feel part of something.

👉 What to do:
Post a message that says:

“If you’ve been quietly following along, this part is for you.”

It’s a soft acknowledgment, no action required.
But it creates a moment of connection that builds trust.
People remember how your space made them feel, especially when they weren't the loudest one in the room.

👉 Then what?
Follow it with something small and valuable. A quick win.

“Here’s a tip I usually only share in my DMs…”
or
“You won’t see this in the caption, but I wanted you to have it.”

This tells your quiet readers:

“You don’t need to earn value by being visible. You already belong.”

The result?
They’re far more likely to engage later, not because you asked them to, but because they felt safe doing it.

Proof in Numbers:

📉 Over 90% of social media users are “lurkers” they read and observe without ever commenting or posting
(Source: Nielsen Norman Group, 2023)

That means you’re likely only hearing from 1 in 10. If you’re building your entire offer around the loudest replies, you’re leaving 90% of your buyers behind.

Personal Opinion:

The quietest watchers are often the closest to buying; they don’t need a spotlight. Just a door.

✨ Wanna see how Womenpreneur is putting this into action; live?

This week, I'm trying something in the group that I'm honestly curious about. You know those members who are active but never really share what they're working on? I have a feeling some of them are sitting on gold.

So I'm posting this prompt:

"If you've been quietly working on something behind the scenes, even if it's messy, half-done, or still in your notes app; tell us what it is. Are you open to sharing?"

I'm curious to see what happens. Who will speak up? What hidden projects will surface? And will any of these quiet sparks turn into something bigger?

I'll be watching it all unfold and sharing everything with you; the good, the awkward, and the surprising. You'll get the full post plus a behind-the-scenes loom video in Thursday's email.

Should be interesting...

With magic and wisdom,
