Why “saying less” often makes more $$
Let’s talk about the power of quiet marketing.

“Want to write content that feels eerily personal — like you’re inside your reader’s head? This is how.”
Dear Beloved Reader,
During her summer potluck, Penelope brought her usual: lemon thyme shortbread. 🍋🥄🌿
But this time, she brought two trays.
The one she set on the table — labeled “Free Sample.”
The other? She kept tucked away in a simple white box under her chair.
The loud guests swarmed the sample tray first; chatting, grabbing, complimenting.
But later in the evening, the quiet woman sitting by the bookshelf walked over and said:
“You’ve got more, don’t you? I’d love to buy some.”
She hadn’t said a word all night.
But she’d been watching. Listening.
And when it mattered, she was ready.
The observers Don’t Want a Megaphone; They Want a Mirror
They’re not looking for more noise.
They’re scanning for a sentence that makes them think:
“Oof... that’s me.”
The breakthrough?
A line that says what they’ve been thinking; but haven’t dared to say in a group.
A sentence so accurate, they need to sit with it before replying.
Something like:
The voice telling you “Who am I to charge premium prices?” isn’t keeping you safe from rejection; it’s keeping you safe from the version of yourself who knows what she’s worth.
Or:
The voice telling you “Maybe wait until you have more experience,” isn’t protecting you from looking foolish. It’s protecting you from realizing you’ve been ready all along.
Why "The Voice Telling You..." Works So Well
When you start a post with “The voice telling you…”, you’re doing something most content doesn’t:
You name the exact thought your reader is having; before they say it.
👉 It’s relatable: Everyone has that voice. Naming it makes them feel seen.
👉 It’s validating: You’re not denying their doubts; you’re reframing what those doubts are really doing.
👉 It’s intimate: It doesn’t feel like a broadcast. It feels like you’re inside their journal.
💬 Wanna try this in your world?
Hit reply and tell me two things:
1. Your niche
2. What your people are quietly struggling with
I’ll write you a ready-to-post “voice line” you can test this week; the kind that makes your silent lurkers go, “wait… how did she know?”

“What’s something you’ve been working on; even if it’s half-baked or still in your notes app?”
It gave them a low-friction way to join in.
